The day I was diagnosed with breast cancer a close friend called to see me. Going through the same thing herself, the best advice she could give me was to be myself. She simply said “You’re still YOU!” I took this on board and when faced with loosing my hair, as an artist, I took control of the experience and cut my hair off, recording the act in the drawing ‘Final Cut’
